Buying guide
How to pick a safety product you will actually carry and use.
Start with how you will carry it
The best safety product is the one that is with you. A keychain alarm or half-ounce pepper spray goes everywhere. A stun flashlight is better for night walks and vehicles.
Pepper spray
Works from a few feet away and needs no contact. It is the most common first purchase. Wind, close quarters and your own aim all matter. Shop pepper spray.
Stun guns
A stun gun works only on contact, so think about whether you are comfortable using one close up. Some states restrict them, and we do not ship them to HI, MA, IL, WI or MI. Shop stun guns.
Personal alarms
A loud alarm gets attention without any contact and needs no training. It is an easy add to any order. Shop alarms.
Home and business
Door alarms, motion sensors and cameras help deter trouble at a door or window. Shop home security. For teams, see business pricing.
Training and safety
We recommend training for any force tool. Local ranges and certified instructors can teach safe handling and how the law treats using force where you live. Less-lethal does not mean harmless: any force tool can cause serious injury. Use these only where the law allows and only when necessary.
